Our stance at Pigeon is that you deserve an ad-free experience. We don't show any ads and we never will.
Pigeon is not part of any advertising network (including Google Analytics or similar). We don't know how you use Pigeon, which means we miss out on analytics and how you interact with Pigeon - and that's ok with us. The only piece of "personal" information we know about you is your account email. We don't know what you call yourself in your chats, who you talk to, or what you talk about.
Pigeon's zero-knowledge architecture means we don't have that information and can't get it. Your messages are encrypted before they leave your device. We couldn't target you if we wanted to, and that's by design.
