Does Pigeon require a phone number?

With Pigeon you only need your email address to sign in. No phone number, no SMS verification, no personal data required.

No phone number required

When you sign into the Pigeon app, all you need is an email address that you have access to. Pigeon will send you a one-time code to verify it's really you. This creates your account if you don't have one, or signs you into a new device. That's it. No phone number, no SMS, no social login, no personal profile to fill out.

Once you're signed in, you won't need to enter or verify your email again until you sign out.

Your email is used for sign-in only. It's not visible to other members unless you share it with someone directly. Pigeon members can't search for your email within the app either.

How sign-in works

• Open the app
• Enter your email → receive a 6-digit code
• Enter the code → you're in!

The code expires quickly and can only be used once. There's no password to forget or reset.

Once you have verified your email, Pigeon uses Face ID or Touch ID to confirm it's you on your device. This keeps your data secured locally on your device so only you have access. Your session stays active on your device without requiring you to sign in again.
